The Estate has undergone some extensive investment in the past four years including the introduction of the new Estate Office and Visitor’s Centre, a camp site, wind turbine and five thousand trees. Further plans are in place to develop a park in front of the house with a small trout pond and parkland trees. There are also plans afoot to develop the four redundant farm cottages including the old shepherds cottage on the fell for residential lettings.

In addition to corporate activities we will be launching a food brand in 2012 for our agricultural produce and have begun to sell produce from the Pheasant shoot in 2010 which can be purchased directly from the Estate office or from local farm shops.
